Clashes between rival militias were reported to be ongoing in Tripoli's southern Khallet al-Furjan district as of the morning of 4 September, according to local media reports. On 3 September, the health ministry announced that the death toll from the fighting had risen to at least 50 people, with another 138 wounded. Clashes had involved heavy shelling, affecting areas including al-Zuhour, Khallet al-Furjan and Ain Zara. Unconfirmed reports also said that improvised missiles had fallen in the vicinity of Tripoli airport, although there was no official confirmation. The capital has seen heavy clashes between the Seventh Brigade from Tarhuna and other prominent militias in recent days. Whilst there have not been any reports of fighting at the port, Owners are advised to keep the situation under review.
