UAE & Egypt reported to have launched airstrikes on Libya

The New York Times reports that Egypt and the United Arab Emirates secretly launched airstrikes against Islamist-linked militias who are currently battling to control the Libyan capital of Tripoli.  The article also reported that “special forces” teams operating out of Egypt but possibly composed primarily of Emiratis had successfully destroyed an Islamist camp near the eastern port of Derna.
